Knight Imaging’s Autotilt Kimac is a multifunctional chair designed to assist staff in addressing patients’ needs in ICUs and critical care wards when transferring patients to and from a hospital bed. It is battery operated with one handset to control most functions and presenting a minimal trip risk to both patients and staff. Waterproof antibacterial upholstery makes it easy to wipe down and sanitise.
Highly manoeuvrable, the Kimac has multiple functions along with assisted positioning for patients, including:
- Motorised sitting/standing for less mobile patients.
- Low seating position with tilt option provides patients with comfortable access.
- Removeable arm/adjustable leg rests.
- Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positioning for recovery after certain procedures.
- Compatible for use with PAT slides and hoists.
- Locking mechanisms front and rear to secure the chair in position.
