As Breast Cancer Awareness Month highlights the importance of early detection and screening, it is important that mammographers are properly supported. The Cardiff Mammography Chair has been developed in the UK with clinical feedback to provide a stable platform for routine breast imaging, biopsies, and stereotactic examinations.
The Cardiff is now available in a new bariatric model capable of comfortably supporting weights up to 168 kg. Despite this increased strength, the chair is still accessible through standard doors.
Ideal for radiology departments, breast screening clinics, and mobile imaging units
The Cardiff has adjustable positioning to accomodate patients with varying mobility requirements. This means the patient remains supported while being imaged accurately from multiple angles.
Additionally, its durable antibacterial upholstery and powder-coated steel frame help wards manage effective infection control.
